extend an offer to Missouri before it ever extends one to Kansas, especially now that we're in the SEC.

And before it would invite Missouri, it would extend offers to several ACC schools (Notre Dame, UVA, UNC, Georgia Tech).

All of those schools (including Missouri) would have to reject the B1G before it ever calls up KU. And at that point, the B1G might decide it's not worth expanding at all.
