You love spouting that he inherited the 11th-ranked recruiting class. That's incorrect on two levels.
First, it's factually incorrect. The class became No. 11 after MGC was added, so he didn't inherit the 11th-ranked class.
Second, it's a laughable fact in that it's been shown to be a prime example of the inaccuracy of recruiting rankings as a predictor of actual college talent.
And yes all the players inherited, except JW3, played below, in most classes well below, their top 100 status. If that qualifies as a bust, then they're busts.
Playing for Steve Fisher didn't elevate MGC's game, so it appears MGC was simply overrated. You know that term. It's how you labeled Cuonzo Martin as a recruiter.
