He was a legit D1 player, transferred from Texas Tech. He was recognized as the top player in KC as a senior (same award that Denmon won) and actually visited MU on a recruiting trip the same time as Criswell and Jankovic, he led CMSU in points and had over 3 times as many assists as any other player. Just had no shot at qualifying academically.
