I don't fault Kim at all for accepting the job.
After the first season, he pretty much knew he couldn't do it and had lost any possibility of ever succeeding. But after that season we changed AD's, and then after the next season we changed AD's, and we concocted an investigation and had to wait on the NCAA, etc. The only person with the power to end the charade on behalf of MU basketball was Kim, by quitting/stepping aside and letting the program start trying again. Had he left after year 1, it would have just been a very bad year and easily recovered from by a good coach. Instead our program got cratered and we are essentially starting from scratch. That is on Kim.
