players who never met their rankings, had NCAA punishments, and had off-court issues. But he was able to take a couple of players he inherited, recruit talent around them, and win. Inheriting Lyons and Lawrence helped him a ton. If Kim had been able to keep J3 and Wright and build around them he could have accomplished something similar. But unfortunately Kim had an almost superhuman ability to lose players to transfer. Kim was just a bad coach, recruiter, and couldn't retain players. It was just that simple.
