numbers more than what you see. That team could have been a lot better and should have been a lot better.
How do you go from one of the absolute best teams MU has ever had, one that was probably more fun to watch than almost any previous team, to what was put on the court the following year?
I don't like Haith. I think he is a horrible basketball coach. He did a masterful job recruiting and getting team that talented on the court after what we had lost the previous year. But, honestly, that's really all I will give the guy credit for. His coaching was atrocious. How he just let Pressey do what ever he wanted out there with no consequence...horrible. Haith lacks the respect from his players because he doesn't earn the respect of his players. His players walk all over him because they know he won't do anything about it.
Since he has left Miami each of Haith's teams have become worse each year. Each year he was worse at MU. Each year he has been worse at Tulsa.
Still, he did a great job putting a team together after Denmon and English left. That team was so stacked with talent. Was amazing. Too bad he didn't know how to deal with it. If he had, we might not have had to endure Kim Anderson.
