Can you figure out Schumer's strategy on this? I cannot.

I don't know how he and the socialists benefit from this. He obviously thinks that they will. He seems to be appealing to his base of socialist well monied idiots, but I do not see how this translates into political games for the socialists in 2018 or 2020.
