ISP under the sun is selling your private information?

So you have Bob. Bob, wants a fast high-speed internet connection so he can stream Netflix, etc. The only way Bob can get access to the internet is if he agrees to their TOS which says they have the right to sell your data.

What if all the ISPs under the sun do this? Don't you think you should have the right to say who does and does not see your browsing history, cookies, etc?
