which means, anyone can beat anyone in basketball. It's been proven time and time again in the Tourney and in the regular season.
Not saying Gonzaga isn't good, or legit, but, I bet if Gonzaga and Zona play ten times this year. Zone wins 8. Just an opinion though.
I don't like mid-majors getting #1 seeds. Period. But if Gonzaga wins it all, I will eat my words. Again, conference strengths is what I am looking at. Outside of St. Mary's and BYU, WCC has NOTHING. The fourth place team was 17-16.
Gonzaga was given a #1 seen based on non-conference SOS, so again, this year seems to be a tad different. But we will see. The SEC team that Gonzaga faces in the final four, may wipe the floor with them.
There is a reason a Mid-Major has not won the tourney before. Because they are not as good. Sure a couple slip in the final four on occasion, but the overall records in tourney, are pretty damning for mid-majors. They need their own tourney and let more P6 teams in the big dance. Again, just an opinion.
