Here's one way repubs are screwing up HC bill.

Instead of rushing to get something out, showing they are "doing" something - ala the dums - and which can not possibly appeal to over half the people no matter what they put in it, they should do what I've said all along re HC.
First, they should set standards for providing it, as in who, how much, etc. The starting point is the (so-called) budget - the amount they'll have to work with, and discuss and justify THAT instead of the details of a bill. Then, establish an order of people getting it, from most deserved on down the line. Because since its been established there won't be enough money for everyone for everything, what else can they do. Even a few dems would go along with anything that common sense. Along with that idea would be to establish the type of ailments to be most eligible for help and so on.
Of course no pol would ever indicate publicly people they would NOT try to help, so it'll never happen. We'll continue this absurd cluster**** forever, OR to the bitter end, which if we keep spending over the revenues will most likely occur. The other option would be inflation that you don't even want to think about.
