Our health care system was in shambles. People dont realize that they paid for these people to get HC anyway.

The poor and uninsured who cant pay their medical bills were going to the ER (the most expensive part of a hospital visit). And since they couldnt pay their bills, the hospital passed on those losses to paying customers, like you and me.

They cant refuse treatment to someone just because they cant pay. You act like insurance premiums havent been on a significant upward trend over the past 20 years.
