My word grizzled was a tad tongue in cheek as Crean does not seem grizzled in any sense of word except experienced. I have always like Creans teams, but I have to admit I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to to his lack of defense, or roll the ball out mentality. That's how I view Quin's tenure here, a good recruiter that didn't value defense and rebounding. The game was much more rugged back then and his teams were quite soft. The times I have watched IU play softness has not occurred to me. I watched them play Kansas and they seemed pretty tough actually. But your assertion has been noted, I'm watching them on Thursday night. BTW I don't think you can win The Big Ten if you're a soft team, maybe im wrong.
