Makes it easier for him to keep doing what he's doing.

The last thing he wants is for everyone in the SEC to demand winning from their basketball program. He doesn't want a difficult conference. He wants an easy path to a conference title every year so he can keep signing his freshmen stars and keep walking to championships and that insane paycheck.

The moment the SEC becomes tough for him, he bolts for the NBA.
