He was gift wrapped an initial class of 2 top 100 players, given an assistant with a strong connection to a top 40 player that allowed him to land that player, and was given 2 more players that he agreed to sign without even seeing them play. It was easily his best class, and the best thing he has done since taking the job.
Additionally when he was hired we already had a verbal commitment from a kid playing in Sedalia, his hometown, who immediately re-opened his commitment upon Kim's hiring. That player went on to finish in the top 10 nationally in scoring as a senior.
Year 3 has been his worst season yet, which seemed impossible given how bad his first 2 seasons were. But he somehow did it.
