We don't know who he'll try to hire, and we don't know who he'll be able to hire. He has done no hiring at MU, and there is only so much you can glean from his time at SDSU, as that was on a far smaller scale.
He is not Mike Alden, so to assume failure would be unfair to him. At this point, I assume he'll make a good hire, until I see him do differently.
