My complaint is not that we lost a game

On the road to a mediocre Texas A&M team on the road. That can happen in the best of years and I actually thought it was one of our better efforts over the last three seasons. I do think that effective coaching at the D-1 level involves not losing every single road game you ever play, losing a vast majority of your home conference games, losing to three low-major teams at home in your third season, finishing dead last in your conference every single year during your coaching tenure, and being unable to maintain a single bit of fan interest in your program. Assuming those are not requirements, I would have to guess that coaching at the major D-1 level is pretty easy and basically everyone is good at it in your mind.
