That made me laugh. Have you ever had to deal with the CSI experts on a jury? I had a jury make up a fact, even though they gave their oath that they would not consider anything that was not offered as evidence during the trial. The fact they made up, due to their expertise in forensic science, (they deduced without any testimony about the matter) that my guy delivered drugs, despite not one person getting on the stand and saying they saw it, or heard about it, including every law enforcement officer saying nobody saw it, or heard about. 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
There is no gray area for juries outside of St. Louis and K.C.
