Snyder suffers from the same problem Missouri does.....inconsistency. It's his choice and despite as good a coach he is and how good he is at selecting staff, KStates program is all over the place. And that is just my point. Snyder settles and the results follow.
Yeah, Petersen had a great record . . . In the WAC and Mountain West. But he's no longer using that same strategy now that he's playing with the big Boyz. He's signing 6-7 4 stars and most of them are before the season starts, and over half are from out of state. If Chris thought the "identify and develop" unknowns was the right way to operate in the Power 5, then why didn't he stay with it? He's able to lure top talent to Seatlle from S California, a distance that is 300 to 500 miles further than Columbia to Houston or Dalllas. Odum's way might have worked at Memphis had he gotten the job there, but he's in the P5, the SEC, and he's taking one helluva risk with this strategy.
