How do you know these were not really "unknown" but were being watched already by the schools that wound up signing them? I doubt they just wake up one day, happen to see Missouri offers, then decide to take a look. Many teams take "projects" they've been looking at for some times but won't offer until late, as they attempt to fill out their classes
