1. We already have a wall in parts of the border. According to people who live near there (not people on the Shack), it doesn't work.

2. If you think a new wall that will be a ton more than claimed plus ongoing maintenance for years to come is the solution NOW, then you're ignorant of the past failures of walls on borders.

3. Net immigration is DOWN and has been for a while.

4. If you really want to make a dent in illegal immigration in the US, you need to focus on those people who fly in and overstay. That is a much bigger problem and one that can probably be more easily fixed, more effectively fixed and more affordably fixed.

Just bringing some facts and logic to the Board.
