Availability of great hire is the key

One silver lining to KA is that we really aren't locked into him for any period of time. We could fire him this year, next year, or at end of contract. When you hire a new guy, it's at least another 3-4 (probably 4) year commitment. That's why Sterk is not going to fall prey to this "anybody but KA" mindset that we see on here. If there's an excellent fit who is interested and can be available, then it's not a bad time to bring him in. He would have a relatively experienced roster, with some decent pieces coming up. But we must absolutely avoid going with a plan b or plan c hire. In the case of Haith and KA we had no choice. But we can wait if we have to now. That flexibility is huge, so we shouldn't just blow our wad on some no-name mid major coach.
