You don't see police officers hanging out in donut shops, and people of every walk of life eat donuts from time to time.

That dumb stereotype is perpetuated by those that find it amusing to find any reason to be disrespectful to police officers.

It's funny how police officers are expected to be completely respectful to everyone, but so many folks go out of their way to be disrespectful to them.
