D1 program may have been able to bring a recruit or two with him but they probably would have lost their best prospects due to the investigations. Not sure 3-5 more wins the first two years post-Haith would really change where we are at.

Bottom line in this kind of rebuild is you need upperclassmen. We'd have juniors if that a coach brought some decent ones with him. Scavenging special cases that were left certainly was a flop
