I have a friend who can't appreciate you helping him get a discount; it has to be so good the other party isn't making any money. I've helped him get his wife's car repaired, his 'fun car' repaired, and some work done on his house for much less than he could find on his own, but he still b*tched that 'they were making money'.

I'm like, no kidding, dumb arse, you want them to want to do a good job and come back with a rate next time. Make it decent for everybody...
