the other thing that I'll maintain is that we are too damned small and not just in the bigs. Going back to Phil. Small point guards are an issue if they aren't quick enough to penetrate and get a shot or dish. They get intimidated into not taking shots or hoist bad shots when they're not afraid of being blocked. They get blocked trying to drive into the lane. The whole 5'9" point guard thing needs to change.
