xpensive to manufacture in the US than elsewhere (OSHA, min wage, EEOC, taxes, regulations, etc. etc.)

What is the name for that?

Either you drop all US regulations so US manufacturers can be cost competitive OR you force (how?) overseas companies to follow the same regulations.

Given you can't do that, what do you do?

Currently the US simply goes into debt maintaining it's citizens lifestyles and all those regulations.
