The universities should simply treat them like MLB does it's players in the minor leagues, which is what it is for the NFL...most minor league players earn 3,000-7,000 for a 5 month season.... Pay the players that then charge them for room and board, tuition, rental of all facilities, tutoring, make them sign over their Licensing rights to come and play for your school and also write into their contracts they get part of any rookie signing bonus if they make it to the NFL. If it's a business run it like a legit business...there are plenty of Football, Basketball and baseball players who will follow their dream and work under those conditions to make it big..
