I'm not sure your issue with FDA. Almost every country has an agency that is similar to the FDA and most follow the FDA's lead. The China equivalent (CFDA) is a bigger pain in the ass than our FDA.

As for Obamacare, all other countries have to deal with healthcare, many have socialized systems in place so that's not an excuse.
