of any which must be dealt with, and certainly from the standpoint of near term, long term analysis. It is essential IMO we maintain foreign markets but we also need to demand and get fair trade deals. I don't mind cutting someone like China, who has cheated for many years, out of our business and I'm tired of their cheap crap anyway. I'd pay more from somewhere else, preferably the US.
A factor never discussed is population growth. It has been very important to us forever, but the elderly are more of the total, birth rate is down and unlimited immigration to make up for it is unwise. Freeways around here are too crowded already. We don't need more of it.
