I disagree, though, that understanding of the game is different between the two. And I don't have any reason to believe Anderson's version of high-low motion differed appreciably from Self's in "technical level."
Or that Norm Stewart's triangle offense differed appreciably from Phil Jackson's. Norm just didn't have Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen playing in his.
I've never coached at either level, either. Maybe you're right, but I still don't see the evidence.
