good at forming a team that can be good against D2 opponents/coaching. let's say the NCC game was an exception since we shot so poorly. that's what he's been doing, so he assumes that's 'building for success'

we dominate the Chaminades, Maryland-Eastern Shores, Omahas, Arkansas-Pine Bluffs, Northwestern States, and Alabama A&Ms of the world, because we're built for that. and he just can't seem to understand why things don't work against higher talent/coaching.

i dunno, just a hunch. he knew what was successful at another level, so just keep rockin' with what was working. not to mention tons of players leaving, and now here we are.
