Look how easy Trump supporters can shrug off his broken campaign promises:

"I have no idea whether Trump thought he actually would [insert campaign promise] when he was campaigning. Perhaps he was naive enough to think he could pull it off, and changed his mind after the fact. The difference is not that important."

I'll assume that with this mindset, you will no longer be pointing out when Trump breaks a campaign promise. It's a good thing you got that out of your system today, since that will be your last.
