Kemp isn't ready this year physically

maybe in a couple of years he will be. Few teams have the guy that is using the 12th or 13th scholarship play on any kind of regular basis. So taking him redshirting Kemp and seeing if he develops into a key player in a few years isn't bad use of the scholarship. The size and athleticism is there. Physically he is no where near strong enough this year.

And if he doesn't develop then he can transfer down.
