How many of those teams redshirt players of Kemp's skill?

I see the post about Virginia redshirting guys but that was just because they had so much talent they needed to redshirt guys to make sure minutes were available and the classes were evened out more. Redshirting talented players because you have too much talent ahead of them is smart. Redshirting marginal players in hopes that they may some day be able to contribute seems like a mid-major thing to do. But we are practically a mid-major so I guess it makes sense.
Even you with all your KA apologizing have to admit that if he can't warrant even minimal minutes and experience on this below-average team, the odds of him having any sort of impact in the future will be minimal. Talented players who aren't physically ready still play on most teams. Laurence Bowers is a great example of that. He was pretty weak when he came in yet he still played a few minutes a game on a really good team. You would think that if Kim thought Kemp would contribute at all in the near future he would at least get him some playing time and not redshirt him.
