I kind of like just letting your best player go make a play

In late game situations I am honestly a fan of creating space and just letting your best player go make a play. Sometimes in the process a defensive player will leave his man creating an option to pass, but I want to create space and let that guy make a play. And never should your opponent have a chance to win the game. It is either win or OT.
