So I'm not implying that was an anomaly, its just that Phillips was even farther away from the basket and in being closely guarded and short had a higher probability of not even getting the shot off. Which happened, and thus resulted in the time not even running out.
We started off with all 4 players flat along the baseline, set up for a screen option to Puryear that didn't materialize, and then just got in Phillips way and didn't have anything prepared beyond that point so it all fell on Phillips to try and create something out of desperation. Which used to be Wes Clark last year, and was JW3 the year before.
