Time will tell. I'm disappointed EE didn't get an experienced, well respected, current college coach to come here, who already has inroads and relationships into the hottest recruiting areas in the country. Maybe this guy is well known enough and has developed those relationships with other coaches, kids, and families through his instructional school. I'd have to know more about that business, how many kids it serves every year, and from what areas of the country, to make a better determination about that.
Feels like a gamble to me. And it feels like more of an emotional choice on his part, hiring a clone of himself who he feels comfortable with. I still think the better college coaching staffs (not all of them) have coaches with complementary skills. This guy, from his background, doesn't complement EE in any way.
