I think running a successful coaching academy should translate well. Being a top pitching and hitting instructor is one of the primary attributes you would want in an assistant coach. What is a concern is his ability to recruit. Continuing our pipeline of talent from California is crucial. I do not know how much contact he had with that area from his academy in West Virginia.
