that I think the defensive effort was more on the players that have since left than it is on coaching.
I agree with you that I wish we would have seen better defense and the great coaches can get most guys to play hard no matter what.
But once those guys checked out, and I think Wright and Gant both knew they wanted to transfer by midseason, they just didn't have anything left to paly for considering the season was already lost no matter what they did with the post season ban.
I just think Anderson has recruited guys with a defensive mindset. Jackson is already talking about how what he wants to do most is go out and shut down other teams scorers. That just isn't something Namon Wright was ever worried about.
I could be wrong but I just think this might be the year you see some signs of the defense we were all lead to believe Anderson would be bringing.
