than Obama in percentage terms. While agreeing that the debt grew much more in absolute terms under Obama, there are two factors to consider. The financial system was on the verge of collapse, so should we ignore it and not boost spending.

For instance if you're house burn down, would you suggest not spending more money to rebuild it and hope that we can rebuild the house with less dollars?
