stories about how the latest Democratic president will ruin the economy. As you mentioned, there are many factors that fall outside of the control of the president. Here are a few:

Can't control weather.
Limited control of what goes on globally, such as China and Europe.
Limited control over workforce skills as that mainly falls on the states where Republicans have more control.
