with the economy?
I know that sounds like an odd question on this board because conventional wisdom is that Democrats with their tax and regulation policies wreck the economy.
However, data over 16 presidential terms suggest otherwise. Contrary to popular opinion, rigorous research performed by Princeton economists shows that the economy has performed much better under Democratic presidents than Republican presidents.
Admittedly, it's not definitive as they were not able to point to actual fiscal policies and some of it could be attributed to favorable economic environments. Still, it shows how many views on here are clueless when it suggests that Democrats wreck economies.
