who to cover and not cover. That's what economic freedom is. Think about it. If you're risk-pooling, why would you insure someone who will be unable to pay enough premiums to cover the extravagant costs that go with treating an expensive disease, such as diabetes, cancer, or other debilitating disease.

We have the history before ACA where private insurers did this. Therefore if you had cancer and lost your job, you have no ability to gain insurance. That's how markets work.
