We will have a Constitution Crisis.
And Trump is the guy that will lead the charge of casting doubt and call the system rigged.
Think about it. Eventually SCOTUS made the final decision. That was when there were 7 Justices. Now there are six.
The Constitution does not have a solution after that.
One solution would be to drop it down to the federal Court of Appeals. (Garland might actually decide)
Another would be leave the decision in the hands of the state court where the electoral votes remain.
Another would be Congress votes as if all candidates came of short of a majority or tie.
Certainly, one way or the other would make the nation even more divided than it is today.
