a change in the electoral system. To preclude the need for an amendment to const., which won't happen, we could at least eliminate, thru the states alone, the winner take all part of the system, in which a candidate gets all electoral votes or none.

The reasons the Founders gave for that system really do not exist today. But, pols won't change it and the electorate is too goddam stupid to push for it.

So expect, again, the 2nd place person to win the election.
