stupid people. He didn't identify and then hire himself, he simply accepted the job offer.

I don't have a hatred for him, and past posts will clearly reflect a long standing admiration and respect for him prior to him cratering MU basketball. He is a good man, completely ill suited for this role and promoted considerably beyond his skill set and capacity. Not trying to flame, but if you think he wasn't a horrible choice then that kind of indicates you don't really understand D1 basketball much.
