Again, Howland was available and wanted the job. He was worst case scenario. No matter what happened, we shouldn't have had a worse coach than Ben Howland (which is a pretty good spot to be in). If we weren't choosing Howland, then it should have meant we had someone better lined up.

Unfortunately, the decision makers in this case were patently stupid.
