They leave in an instant for new jobs when it suits their situation.

But they're all upset that college basketball will turn into the "wild, wild West." They need to get over themselves.

Eliminating the one-year rule would probably have a substantial impact on the sport, but I don't think it would be all that negative. The best of the best will still leave early for the NBA, and there will be some more turnover among players who want more playing time, but I don't think you'll see widespread chaos. It would hurt low-majors and mid-majors the most, since a guy might blossom into the WAC Player of the Year and then immediately transfer to Oregon State. But, as much as I'm not sure I like that idea, it also is probably more fair to the players.
