Great Leap Forward, which was a blood letting terror purge, one of the most ferocious this world has ever seen.

It began a process to send millions of US jobs there (among other places in the world) and a wealth transfer of epic proportions.

Communism's fundamental foundation is the political and economic subjugation of the citizen to the needs of the state and its un-elected elite rulers. Mr. Putin has no problem with that philosophy. Neither does Mr. Obama who couldn't wait to try to play nice with Holy Mother Russia and its dictator once the 2012 election was over.
