there are some significant differences between state "nullification" and a decision by "a jury of one's peers" as Spanky notes.

One difference is that even those advocating nullification of federal laws posit that it is each individual state government which unilaterally decides whether the federal government has violated the constitution or exceeded their constitutional boundaries.

In the case of juries it is the jury composed of individual citizens who decide upon the correct application of the law. They are not declaring any law unconstitutional and therefore void.
